I have received two completely different tracking numbers one week apart with no contact number to confirm what is going on
I’ve tried tracking both tracking numbers. There is absolutely no information other than shipment information received.
Hi Mary, happy to clear this up. Your cake is in transit now and on track to arrive well before your celebration date. You chose standard shipping, and because you planned ahead we made sure to send it with plenty of time to avoid any delays.
The earlier tracking was a label created too early by mistake. Your order is local to Sydney, so it was too soon to send and that label was never dispatched. We rebooked it to go out at the right time and it's now moving through the network, so please follow the most recent tracking number. I'll also email you the full details.
We're sorry we didn't catch your Monday email sooner, it landed in our spam folder, which we scan Monday and Thursday mornings. That's on us and on the tech. We're also briefing our team so that whenever we make a proactive shipping decision like holding and rebooking an order, we email the customer straight away to explain the change and avoid any confusion like this.
